Mindfulness & Self Care Group for Parents -
Release & Renewal

The Mindfulness & Self Care series provide an opportunity for stepping outside of hectic life routines and into the peace of the present moment. We’ll apply basic concepts of mindfulness to daily parenting challenges and consider how it can be used for personal growth, peace and family well-being. Sessions will include time for community connection and relaxation, mindful meditation, and weekly discussion topics.

This eight-week series is rooted in mindfulness concepts, and designed to:
• Redefine values and goals and reflect on whether current family patterns are furthering or hampering those goals;
• Better understand factors contributing to unhelpful habits and contemplate barriers to change;
• Reflect on necessary elements for bringing new possibilities to your family;
• Examine and reconstruct definitions of yourself and others within your family for greater acceptance, compassion and empowerment.
