Judith Marsh

Dr. Judith Marsh is currently in private practice at Midstep Centers for Child Development and teaches graduate students in counseling and psychology at PSU.  Prior to moving to State College to join Midstep, she was an Assistant Professor and Director of the Counseling Psychology Graduate Program at Arcadia University in Glenside PA.  She took over the graduate program at Arcadia following her tenure as Dr. Chair of the Division of Psychology and oversaw the doctoral, masters, and undergraduate programs in Psychology at Chestnut Hill College. Before assuming her position at Chestnut Hill College, Dr. Marsh was Co-Director of several inpatient and outpatient programs at the Children’s Seashore House/CHOP at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she held dual clinical faculty appointments in Pediatrics and Psychiatry.  Her academic interests include children’s adaptation to medical illness and disability, pediatric health psychology and pain management, as well as childhood anxiety and depressive disorders.  Dr. Marsh has co-authored and has also been principal investigator on several federal and local foundation grant proposals for which she has received funding.  She has co-authored a number of articles and papers for peer reviewed journals, and lectures extensively at regional and national conferences.
